A charismatic global leader, Chin Teik has the distinction of holding prominent senior management roles in Intel such as Regional Director of Human Resource for Asia Pacific Sales & Marketing, Director of Global Employee Services and Program Director for Human Resource Global Growth. Chin Teik started his career as a Production Manager. Chin Teik was involved in working with corporate groups to successfully localize their programs into international regions and helping the globalization efforts, which included facilitating the ‘globalization’ of corporate HR, bringing over leadership and management programs into Asia and helping to set up the regional HR functions in Asia. Chin Teik’s leadership efforts has resulted in the opening and expansion of sales offices in Asia Pacific region (focus on SEA, China and India), start up of Asia shared services to implementation of global payroll and expense projects.
Chin Teik has to his credit the prestige of setting up the first-ever 10, 000 sq. ft. Intel University Training Center to support site’s ‘Transformation of Workforce’ program. Chin Teik also played an instrumental role in the founding of the Penang Skills Development Center.
